A sealed comparison against Claude Code, off unless you turn it on
An opt-in hourly check compares Bandicot with Claude Code on the same tasks, using your subscription with hard token caps, and cannot read your saved logins.
To keep Bandicot honest about cost, an hourly meter can run the same small tasks through Claude Code and Bandicot and compare the tokens each needs. It is off by default, runs only on a subscription, and stops at fixed token caps.
Each run is sealed off from your home folder: it cannot read your keychain, your saved logins or key files, only the tools it needs to start. The report stays on this Mac.
