How do you schedule an AI agent to run on its own?
In Bandicot, an automaton is an agent that runs on a schedule or on request inside a project, on your Mac while Bandicot is open, under the same approvals as a chat. You set how often it runs, when it stops, and whether missed runs are skipped or caught up.
How it works in Bandicot
- 01Name it and set the pace
Every (minutes) sets the interval; Stop after (runs) ends it, and 0 keeps it running.
- 02Choose what happens to missed runs
Missed runs: Skip them or Catch up.
- 03Decide what it may touch
Without Allow file writes, runs can only read the workspace (read, grep, find, ls).
