From a terminal transcript to a timeline.
Open the repository you already work in. Approvals are visible, every enrolled file change is a version, and a dot on the timeline marks each agent run, your own edits and earlier restores. Bandicot's own agent, not an Aider import.
Free for one person on your Mac, no card. Your model provider bills you directly.
Checked, and labelled
Each line says whether it ships now or is still being built, so you never buy a promise.

Approval before writes
An agent asks before it writes, runs or spends outside the rules you set; the rules live in one permissions file.
- Available now
A version for every change
Every file an agent changes is recorded, with diffs, restore, undo of a whole run, and a slider that puts a folder back to any moment.
- Available now
Any model, one project
Switch between hosted providers and local models without rebuilding the project around one lab.

Before and after
Now
The record of what happened is a terminal transcript, and reconstructing which run changed which file means scrolling.
With Bandicot
The record is built as you work. Hover a dot to see who changed what, click it to open the run, and slide back one version at a time.

Made for
Terminal-agent users who want to try a native workspace.
Aider users seeking a native Mac workspace for agent sessions
Not yet for
People expecting Aider's commands, settings or chats to import automatically.
What people ask first
Does it run Aider inside Bandicot?
This page offers Bandicot's own agent workspace, not an embedded Aider runtime or automatic settings migration.
Can I take back an agent's edits?
Yes. In projects you enrol in Versions, file changes are recorded. Restore a file or undo a whole run, with or without Git.
Where do my prompts go?
A local model runs on your Mac. A hosted provider receives the prompts you send it and bills you directly. Choose the route the work permits.
