Bandicot now keeps a log of its own errors
When something goes wrong, Bandicot now writes a short private note you can look at later. It never holds your messages, drafts or keys.
When a problem showed in the window, there was nothing left to look at afterwards: the part of Bandicot that does the work threw its error messages away. It now keeps them in a small file called engine.log in the Bandicot folder inside your Library, under Logs.
Only you can read the file. It stops growing at a few megabytes and keeps two older copies, so it never fills your disk. It holds short notes about what failed and when the engine started. Nothing you type, no draft, no file name and no key is written to it, and an automatic check flags any change to Bandicot that would start doing so.
