Sessions open on any project and branch, and long commands keep running

Sessions start on any folder and branch, git projects get Versions branches, long shell work runs in the background, and agent questions answer from a terminal.

Engine

A new session can open straight onto any project folder and branch. In a project that already uses git, Versions branches run git underneath, so the agent works with Versions while your history stays in git.

A command that takes a long time can now run in the background: the agent starts it, carries on, and checks or stops it later, and a stopped or deleted session ends its background work with it. A helper's own folder starts warm, with the project's dependencies already in place.

When an agent asks you something, you can answer from a terminal as well as in the window, and a tool call is only refused for a real reason, which it names.
