Every Rack area answers a program, and the answers feed each other

A program can call any of the 37 Rack areas, and each result goes straight into the next. Hear, judge, search, draw, enlarge and caption in one run.

Engine

One run, many models

A program can now call any of the 37 areas in AI Gateway > Rack: speech, voices, pictures, search, ranking, grouping and System One judgments. What one area returns goes into the next with no glue. A recording becomes words, System One judges them, the words become vectors, the vectors search your documents, the best hit becomes a picture, the picture is enlarged and then captioned.

Pictures, recordings, vectors, rankings and groups are passed on as small handles instead of being pasted into the chat, so a long chain stays cheap. An area that cannot run on this Mac yet, such as singing, says exactly what is missing instead of pretending.

See it in the Rack and in the chat

Each area in the Rack now shows what it takes, what it gives and whether it can run now, with a count of how many are ready. Inside a chat, every Rack call a program makes shows as its own card with the area, the model, the time and a preview: the picture, the length of a recording, or the top results.

System One can also suggest a Rack area, and the chain it feeds, when your request fits one.
