The Inventory now measures what you hold and what you use

See every session's starting cost against the context window, how much of each kind you hold and use, and hover or pin any item to measure it.

Product

The right side of the Inventory opens on one bar: what every new session starts with, split into the system prompt, rules, skills, tools and connected servers, measured against the model's context window, with a tick where compaction begins. With a chat open, the bar shows that chat's own numbers, the same ones the composer meter reads.

Below it, one row per kind shows how many you have equipped and ready to equip (and, for plugins, how many you can install), and how often each kind was used over the last 7, 30 or 90 days, with a bar per day. The five most used items sit under that, and the items that went unused in the range sit in one line you can click to filter the list.

Hover to measure, click to keep

Hover any skill, tool, model or server and the middle pane shows that item: its uses, its errors, the sessions it ran in and when it was last used. Click to pin it; click again or press Escape to let it go. Hovering also previews what equipping it would add to the starting bar.

The counts come from your own sessions on this Mac and never include what you wrote or what tools returned. A forked chat is no longer counted twice, skills started with a slash command or loaded by name are counted, and each server's calls are its own. Efficiency's Inventory tab shows the same counts. Kinds that are not counted yet show a dash, never a false zero.
