An edited message is never lost
If a channel message seemed not to send and you change it before trying again, your new words now go out instead of vanishing.
When Bandicot did not answer in time, a channel message stays in the box so you can send it again, and trying again never posts it twice. But if the first try had in fact arrived and you edited the text before retrying, your changes were quietly dropped. Now an edited message is sent as a new one, so what you wrote always reaches the team.
