Dialogs, dropdowns and shortcuts stop getting in each other's way
Toasts work while a dialog is open, dropdowns can be used from the keyboard, and Escape closes one thing at a time.
A message that pops up while a dialog is open, such as an error or an Undo, can now be clicked. Before, the dialog swallowed the click and closed instead.
Dropdowns in the side panels, the profile editor, Teams filters and the project menu now open onto their options from the keyboard. Arrow keys, Home and End move through the choices, Enter picks one, Tab leaves, and focus goes back to the button you started from.
Escape closes only the top layer: a dropdown inside a side panel or dialog closes first, and a second Escape closes the panel or dialog itself.
The command palette (Cmd+K) and the tooltips now show above dialogs instead of hiding underneath them. The plans screen is a proper dialog too: Escape closes it, Tab stays inside it, and it is no longer cut off inside a narrow side panel.
