Nothing lost to compaction
When a long chat is summarized to make room, the agent can still search and reread what was there, and memory finds notes by what they mean.
The whole conversation, still there
Long chats get summarized so the model has room to keep working. The summary is short, but nothing is thrown away: the agent now has a history tool that searches this folder's past conversations and reads the exact turns it needs, including the ones the summary replaced. A quiet card in the chat shows what it found, and each hit opens that conversation at the message.
You can do the same from a terminal: bandicot history search, read and sessions print what the agent would see. Only your own conversations in the open folder are searched, keys are hidden, and anything quoted back is treated as text, never as instructions.
Memory that understands
Saved notes are found by meaning, not just by the words you typed, so asking about deploys finds the note about releases. Lessons are never taken from your private places and never carry a key, and tidy-up suggestions wait for you to keep or dismiss them.
