Memory that finds what you meant

Memory now finds a note when you ask in other words, follows you to your other Macs, and masks keys before anything is kept.

Ask in your own words

Recall still matches the words in a note, and with an embedding model from the Rack it also matches what a note means. In our tests with questions asked in other words, it found the right note 41 times in 50, where words alone found 21.

A question about nothing in memory brings back nothing, and if the model is not there recall keeps working on words.

On every Mac you own

Notes follow you to the Macs you paired in Devices. A note kept before pairing arrives too, an edit made on two Macs at once keeps both versions, and a Mac you remove gets nothing after that.

Nothing secret is kept

Keys are masked before a note is written, whether you or the agent wrote it. Hover a note in Memory to see where it is kept and which chat wrote it.

Bandicot also reads what Claude Code and Codex remember about a project, as hints, with keys masked the same way.
