bandicot

Your chat can start its own chats

Ask for something with parts and Bandicot offers a sub-session for each. They report back, ask each other questions and share one plan.

One click to start

When a task splits into parts, Bandicot offers to start a sub-session for each. Start runs it, Not now drops it, and a switch in Settings, Capabilities lets Bandicot start them without asking.

Sub-sessions sit under their parent in the sidebar with a dot and a word for what each is doing. Up to four run at once and the rest wait their turn.

They report back

Each sub-session tells its parent when it is done, fails or needs you, and siblings can ask each other questions without stopping their work. A sub-session never runs a more expensive model than its parent.

One plan, no collisions

A sub-session claims its plan step and the files it will change. In a git project it works on its own branch beside yours, and no other sub-session can overwrite what it claimed.
