Every project has a handbook again: AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md
Bandicot reads your project's AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md again. One file now holds what the project is, how to work in it and a few lasting notes.
One file, three jobs
Each chat starts from the project's handbook: AGENTS.md, or CLAUDE.md when there is no AGENTS.md. Folders from the repository root down to your project each give theirs, and the nearest wins a conflict.
In Settings, Instructions now shows this project's handbook and saves straight into that file. Text you saved there earlier moves into it on the next save. Handbooks higher up the repository are listed with a button to open them.
When the agent learns something every later session needs, such as a command, a pitfall or a decision, it adds one short line to the handbook and keeps the rest in memory.
