Keep working with the lid closed

Your Mac stays awake while Bandicot works, stays reachable from your phone, and can keep going with the lid closed, yet still sleeps at 20% battery.

Awake while it works

A run now keeps your Mac awake from its first step to its last, and lets go the moment it ends, fails or is cancelled.

One switch under Automatons keeps a plugged-in Mac awake so your phone can reach it. The line under the switch says how reachable it is right now, and changes when you unplug.

With the lid closed

Turn on Keep working with the lid closed and macOS asks for your administrator password once. After that a closed Mac keeps working, on battery too, until it gets hot or the battery reaches 20%.

At 20% on battery Bandicot lets go of everything that keeps your Mac awake, even with every setup step done, and holds again once it is plugged in or back at 25%. If something else has turned sleep off for the whole Mac, Settings says so and offers to let it sleep again.

Settings → Your phone

The few macOS settings that keep your Mac reachable are listed in one place. Each is ticked when it is already right, with a button to the right pane when it is not.
