Name one Mac as your captain
Pick the Mac your other Macs, phone and agents follow. Every Mac agrees on it, and a Mac that slept through a change steps down.
Working across your Macs now has a captain: the one Mac whose sessions are the truth the others follow. Open Your Macs in Team and press Make this Mac the captain. Your other Macs hear it within a minute and show it too.
Each change raises a number called the epoch. A Mac that was asleep while you moved the captain sees the higher number the first time it hears another Mac, and steps down instead of carrying on as if nothing happened. Nothing is ever decided for you: a Mac becomes the captain only when you make it one.
