Shape how the agent works in Settings → Agent
Write your own style and each profile's and project's instructions, pick a preset, and read the exact prompt the agent gets before you apply it.
Your words beside the recommended ones
Settings → Agent → Instructions holds three texts: your style, this profile's instructions and this project's instructions. Each starts from Bandicot's recommended text and is marked Recommended or Edited. Show changes compares the two, Reset brings the recommendation back, and a pause in typing saves.
Apply to this chat hands the new text to the chat you have open at its next step. Final prompt shows the whole prompt the agent will read.
Switches and presets
Behavior has four switches, for answer length, thinking depth, initiative and progress updates, and four presets: Concise, Balanced, Thorough and Cautious. At their recommended values they add nothing to the prompt.
A setting fixed by a variable where the engine started is shown, read-only, with the variable's name.
One prompt for every project
The system prompt is now the same in every project, so one cached copy serves them all and a chat in another folder starts from cached input. Each model is sent only the options it accepts.
