Embedding and reranking models on the Rack
Put an embedding or reranking model on the Rack and Bandicot finds your saved notes and its own tools by meaning, not only by matching words.
Three new models to download
Models now lists Nomic Embed Text, Qwen3 Embedding and BGE Reranker. Each downloads from a pinned, checked file and waits on the Rack until you put it on a task.
With Embeddings, Sentence Embeddings or Reranking, Passage Reranking set, looking up saved notes orders them by how well they answer the request. Reranking, Agent Tool Reranking does the same for the list of tools the agent can reach.
Words still work
Leave those tasks empty and nothing changes. If a Rack model cannot start, the lookup falls back to matching words for that call.
